Veteran Friendly Practice

A veteran is anyone who has served in the Armed Forces for at least one day, whether in a regular or reserve role. The terms ‘veteran,’ ‘ex-service personnel,’ and ‘ex-forces’ all refer to the same group, although not every former service member identifies with or prefers the term ‘veteran.’ This is especially true for younger veterans, who often call themselves ‘ex-forces,’ as many associate the word ‘veteran’ with those who fought in the First or Second World War.

Our GP practice is proud to be accredited as Armed Forces veteran-friendly. As part of our commitment under the Armed Forces Covenant, we have a dedicated clinician—Dr. White—who specializes in military-related health issues and veteran-specific services. This expertise helps ensure that ex-forces receive the best possible care and treatment. If you have served in the armed forces, please get in touch with us so we can support your health needs effectively.
