Sarah, the Practice Manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology.
The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care. If you wish to make a complaint about any services at Budbrooke please do contact Sarah as she is the complaints manager.
Sarah is the leads for continuous improvements and change facilitator, if you have any feedback with regards to services within the practice or any processes please do let Sarah know. An example of feedback is whereby a patient gave feedback on the fact that when trying to give a urine sample within the practice there was nowhere to hang their jacket or place the sample bottle. A shelf was put into the toilets and a hook on the back of the door. Feedback helps improve our surgery and we welcome it.

Amy leads our dispensary team making sure you get the right medications on time along with making sure medicines are well stocked and the department runs smoothly. A vast majority of our patients get their prescriptions through the dispensary rather than through a pharmacy elsewhere so it is a very busy part of the surgery. Amy is also a trained phlebotomist and can sometimes be found completing blood tests as and when needed.

GP net earnings
All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
The average pay for GPs who worked for six months or more in Budbrooke Medical Centre in the last financial year (2023) was £74,980 before Tax and National Insurance. This is for 1 full-time GP, 2 part-time GP’s and 1 locum GP.
